Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Sobi mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and any other applicable terms referenced herein. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply in addition to Apple’s Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Sobi. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the use of the App by minors under their supervision.
Use of the App
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not interfere with the functionality or security of the App
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the App in any unauthorized way
Privacy and Data
Sobi is committed to protecting your privacy. The App stores your data locally on your device. No login or account creation is required.
Some non-identifiable data may be collected (e.g., crash logs, usage patterns) to improve performance or fix bugs. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
Subscriptions, Promotions, and Billing
Certain features of Sobi are available through a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees via Apple’s App Store
- Allow Apple to charge your payment method for recurring subscriptions unless canceled
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
Promotions & Lifetime Access
From time to time, we may offer promotional access (e.g., free trials, discounted pricing, or lifetime access). These are:
- Non-transferable and offered at our discretion
- Subject to change, modification, or termination at any time
- Not guaranteed to persist indefinitely, including “lifetime” access offers
Sobi reserves the right to revoke or adjust promotional access at any time for any reason, including abuse, fraud, or business needs.
Cancellation and Refunds
Subscriptions can be canceled anytime via your Apple account. Refunds are subject to Apple’s policies and our discretion.
Health Disclaimer
Sobi is intended as a supportive tool to help you maintain sobriety and improve well-being. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or professional treatment.
If you are dealing with a medical condition, mental health issue, or substance addiction, please consult with a licensed healthcare provider. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or a professional support service immediately.
Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, graphics, characters, and content in the App are the property of Sobi or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or alter any content without prior written consent.
Updates
Sobi may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after such changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. Major changes will be communicated through the App.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Sobi is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee that the App will function without errors or interruptions. Outcomes may vary based on personal use.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sobi and its creators are not liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App
- Loss of data, personal disruption, or reliance on app functionality
If liability is found, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the App or subscription in the last 12 months.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion for violation of these Terms or any applicable law. Upon termination, your license is revoked and you must delete the App from your device.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any dispute arising from your use of the App will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in California, USA.
